Located at the corner of Panet and Berthier streets (south of Park Lafontaine) between Sherbrooke and Ontario streets, the B&B Sur la Route de Berthier will let you enjoy all of Montreal´s activities and touristic attractions. District Centre-Sud is at the heart of Montreal, the francophone center of Montreal a urban and dynamic district: Plateau-Mont-Royal, Quartier Latin and Gay Village; 20 minutes walk from Old-Montreal, Mont-Royal and Quartier des Affaires.

Rates and reservations

The Bed and Breakfast standing over 2 storeys has 3 rooms with private bathroom furnished with french and quebec antiques. 2 large living-rooms and a large terrace overlooking Park Berthier are at the disposition of the visitors. On the first floor a large living-room, 2 sofas on a side and a large dining-table with 6 seats near the kitchen side. A place to meet and to share with the hosts and the other guests. A brick arch leads to the other half of the building to the rooms #1 and #2. In the office a staircase leads to second floor where you arrive the other living-room; very sunny this room has a wide working table, a coach and armchairs for relaxing and reading. A wide screen TV and DVD, a computer in a private corner are available for the entertainment after a long day of walking in the city. Room #3 is at this floor. Finaly you can go outside on our very large terrace overlooking Park Berthier.

The rooms

The hosts Pierre et Guillaume collect antiques for a long time, they decorated their home carefuly and will be happy to present their treasures to the amateurs. Passionated with history they are always available to share their knowledge with their guests and help them to better understand Quebec and Montreal inhabitants. Keeping a B and B since 1985, first in the Laurentians, then since 2003 in Montreal they love to talk and share simply with humor and wittyness

The song Sur la Route de Berthier is an old traditional folk song from France which means On the road to Berthier. We chose this name for our Bed and Breakfast because it is located on the corner of Panet and Berthier streets and we started living on that corner in 1975.
